Some of the things he is enjoying right now are:
-Pounding on his chest like a gorilla.
-Holding a cell phone up to his ear (more like the back of his neck) and saying "hello" which sounds more like hola!
-He has started to help me blow on his food when it is hot. He has even improved and I think his food gets blown on more than spit on these days.
-He likes to bounce on his knees. (See video below) The physical therapist said that this is a very hard skill for kids, and most don't do it until after they have been walking for a while. She said he is very strong and has scattered skills. Basically he is still not walking, but can still do things that are above his age range.

-He points the remote at the TV and pushes buttons. He also likes to stand at the TV and push the power button and all the buttons on the DVD player.
-He pulls all the shoes off the shoe rack any time he notices they have been picked up, as well as all the DVDs.
-We moved his fish into his room and he is obsessed with the thing. I can even get him to sign fish now!
-He loves to help unload the dishwasher but we limit him to the silverware.

-He loves to do our Mario Mix DDR. He always fails, but never tires of "dancing" around on the pad. He even gets a few perfects every now and again!
-He loves to wrestle his daddy! I can never decide who enjoys it more, Bob or Ezra?
-He loves to eat lemons, even though they make him make crazy faces. (I think that is the real reason he likes them, because we all laugh at him!)
It's a bad picture but it is the best one I got of his face.
Unfortunately Ezra is not one to perform so it is hard to get videos or pictures of him doing all of these wonderful things. All in due time I guess!

Thank you so much for this post. My girls loved it. Parker tried to imitate Ezra's laugh and they were cracking up. We all think he is pretty funny.
I wouldn't worry about the walking thing. He seems pretty busy with the knee hopping and wrestling.

I am super sad that we missed each other during Christmas. I would have loved to meet Ezra and see you and Bob! I can tell that Nenji would absolutely LOVE Ezra!
Wow he is getting so big! I haven't checked your blog for a while (or anyone else's!) We should have met up at Christmas time...I was in Utah too! You'll have to tell me when you head out again. Who knows, maybe we'll be there too!
Ok so I read Kalia's comment, and figured you had gone to Utah, but apparently you went to California (figured that out after writing my comment...sorry) But next time you are in Utah let me know!
As I read this I feel like I am reading about Ava. They have so much in common. Ava is not walking yet either, but has started to stand on her own for a few seconds. She doesn't help with the dishes, but she does help keep the carpet clean. Instead of putting things she finds on the floor in her mouth she gives them to me. She also loves fish, so I should teach her the sign so her and Ezra can communicate. She just recently started signing eat and will fold her arms for a few seconds during a prayer.
It is so fun to see the videos and pictures of Ezra...thanks for posting them.
Thanks for the book recommendation. Someone else told me that was a good book a while back-i forgot about it. I'm going to go to the library today and pick it up! I'll let you know if I like it too.
