Happy first Fathers Day Bob!

I never get over the depth of meaning of the words President McKay often quoted, "The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother."
-Gordon B. Hinkley I wanted to make this post to let you all know what a wonderful husband I have. Bob has been more than I ever imagined I would get in a spouse. I know that he is going to be a great dad, because he has already started.

Not only has he made dinner almost every night since I started getting morning sickness, but he has also taken over 99% of the cleaning (even though he already did a lot). I have not had to clean a toilet since I got married. He always opens my door, and will rub my feet anytime I ask. Just the other day he painted my toe nails, and I'm not that pregnant, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. He never lets a moment go by without letting me know in one form or another how much he loves me.

He has already given our children the most important thing that he ever will. I love him so much and hope to be able to live up to the standard he has set. I love you, Bob.

Sorry Dad, but EmmaLee wants scrubs, not smocks.

We thought we would just fill you in on what's new with our lives. I finished my exams a few weeks ago. My summer consists of performing free labor. I am on an internship (unpaid if you didn't catch that) working at the Belmont Dental Group (you can check it out at http://www.belmontdental.com/) Wednesday through Saturday. I'm not crazy about the schedule but I don't mind working for 32 hours a week. The only trouble is EmmaLee has plenty for me to do on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The best part about it is I bought a bike to get to work. I haven't really rode a bike in a long time and I kind of forgot how fun it is. I'm enjoying riding my retro style Schwinn a lot. EmmaLee has been strictly training to do customer service at the bank recently which she is not crazy about because she is stuck in the office and doesn't have many co-workers to chat with like when she is a teller but she continues to enjoy work at the bank.

Growing up....

Here is our second ultrasound from May 30th (12 weeks, 2 days). Everything looks good and our baby is approximately the size of a lime in these pictures. The bottom one is a good shot of the baby's arm. The rest are just some shots of the body. Our next ultrasound is on July 11th and we will find out the sex! We're hoping those pictures will be a little better since they will be checking the baby's anatomy, not measuring the nuchal fold thickness.
