Party Animal!?

So we had our first appointment with the surgeon on new year's eve. The appointment actually wasn't very exciting (besides when he tried to pee on the nurse changing his diaper) but they did say that they might be able to eliminate one of the surgeries. They are going to put the latham device in during February and the doctor said that if it brings the tissues close enough together that they would do the lip repair in one surgery as opposed to two. They also weighed Ezra and he is 8lbs. 13oz.

After the doctor, Ezra was having a tough day. He was fussy most of the evening. The only thing that seemed to calm him down was a bottle. Apparently he knew it was new year's eve because he kept drinking, and drinking - a lot more than normal. Finally, he'd had enough and vomited all over himself, then proceeded to pass out! I think we're going to have to keep an eye on this little party guy!

Here are some photos from Christmas that we never got around to posting as well. Please enjoy.

We're not sure if this is from Christmas or not, but it's cute!

It's my first Christmas!
Good Things come in Small Packages.
My Christmas Haul! A big thank you to everyone!
Merry Christmas!

crazy party animal!! :) It makes me so sad that he's going to have to go through all this stuff. Hopefully he can miss out on one surgery!!

p.s. Bob... you spent all day at the doctors and had a fussy baby and STILL found time to shovel your (very very very grateful) neighbor's driveway... YOU ARE A SAINT!!

Cute Christmas pics! I want to hold little Ezra so bad, but in due time I guess. Looks like you guys had a Merry Christmas. Brandon and I decided ours was more of a blur... rather than Christmas but either way we got the best gift ever and that's all that matters, right!?!

We love the photos and the story about Ezra almost peeing on the nurse. We can't wait to meet our nephew someday...any chance you guys will be visiting in the next 2 years? We are excited for Ava to have a cousin her age to play with.

Oh, by the way, one of my favorite movies is "Bride and Prejudice". It is Pride and Prejudice with a Bollywood flavor. I enjoy it, but since it is a musical I'm sure most of the Bowling family would hate it...wait I take that back, Sherrie and the kids love it and Rich says it is entertaining.

What a cute little guy! We keep out fingers crossed that he won't have to have that 2nd surgery. I hope to see little Ezra and his mommy some time soon. We would love to have you over to do laundry or to just hang out!
