We really liked the tour and had great tour guides.
They pulled up three traps and we really lucked out because one had this HUGE guy.
He was too big, and had to be thrown back!
Here is a big female that got brought up in another trap.
Those are eggs all over her tail. I told you we got lucky.
Ezra enjoyed his first boat ride.
She is explaining the only visible difference between a male and a female.
I couldn't tell at the time due to the angle, but she is holding two lobsters.
I was really confused as to how to tell the difference until we looked
at the pictures and I realized she was holding one of each.
There somehow ended up a little fish in the boat and they let the kids touch it.
Ezra enjoyed walking all around the boat. He had pretty good sea legs.
I'm glad they were really cool about it. Here our captain is offering Ezra some bait fish pieces.
Luckily Ezra never took it because I am sure it would have ended up in his mouth. Yuck!
Touching/holding a keeper.
Jason and Jessica with us. I highly recommend this little trip!

We're glad you had a good time! I can't believe that you guys will be living here so soon. We're super excited! The kids mention it a lot, especially Kobie. He even wrote in his school journal about how his Uncle Bob and family will be moving here. The kids are going to have so much fun together. We need to get the McDowell family and Oregonians to move here- that would be awesome!
Glad you guys had a great time and are able to get out and have some fun. It is always nice to see the sites.
Looks like you guys are having an awesome summer. Here in Oregon this year we apparently won't be having a summer~blah...Highs here are in the 50's low 60's. If this keeps up maybe we will move to CA! (Doug would be the hard one to convince). I think we are going to take more road trips down to Sac/Gridley next year. We miss you guys and it's so fun to get together and have the cousins make memories together.
Another post of yours I shouldn't have read. Now I'm homesick for Boston and missing hanging out with you guys. Yesterday we even had a missionary come back who had served in Framingham and Cambridge. We'll definitely be thinking about you on the 4th. That was one of my favorite memories and Avery still insists that we paint her toes like "flags" like we did while waiting for the fireworks by the Charles. Sigh.
So... I was just wondering: how do you even say the name of this place?? :)
